Bill Richards powered his way to glory at Lydden hill on the 28th of June.
With his KAD engined 1979 Mini Clubman, he fought off the likes of a 300bhp BMW Mini and a turbo'd K-head Mini (both of which proved to be unreliable) to take the 'Worlds Fastest Mini' title with an impressive 19 second gap over 2nd placed Gerald Dale.
Despite the incredible track temperatures the Clubman didn't miss a beat, achieving 2 pole positions from 2 qualifying sessions and 5 overall Wins in 5 races.
Well done to Bill and all of the team- who worked very hard to achieve this title.
